Research Assistants

Sophie Bier
Sophie is a third-year student at the University of Oregon pursuing a degree in Neuroscience with a Spanish and Chemistry minor on the Pre-Med track. She wants to pursue a career in Neurology and explore research opportunities in that field. Outside of school, she plays tennis and enjoys baking.

Junie Christopherson
Junie is a first-year student at the University of Oregon, double majoring in Psychology and Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry on the Pre-Med track. She’s excited to work within the CAIDe lab, and to explore decision making within the field of behavioral health. She hopes to be able to apply what she learns at CAIDe to her projected career as a psychiatrist, with a focus on neuropsychiatry.

Meira Fiber-Munro
Meira is a third-year student double-majoring in psychology and journalism, with minors in science communication and legal studies. She is excited to be a research assistant with the CAIDe lab and to learn more about decision-making and behavior. She is hoping to use the research skills developed at the CAIDe lab in graduate school and future work in science communication.

Ester Kim
Ester is a second-year student majoring in neuroscience and minoring in legal studies at the University of Oregon, in the Clarks Honors College. She looks forward to her time as a research assistant and developing skills in this area. She plans to build the fundamental skills of research that are applicable to her academics as well as her pursuit of higher education. She would like to explore deeper into decision-making in the medical field.

Isabelle Long
Isabelle is a third-year student double majoring in Psychology and Family and Human Services, with complementary minors in Italian and Comparative Literature. She is excited to explore cognitive decision-making in numeracy through her work with the CAIDe Lab, aiming to enrich her academic journey and support her goal of becoming a clinical mental health therapist. Isabelle is particularly passionate about working with adolescents, especially in the field of eating disorder counseling.

Noa Schwartz
Noa is a fourth-year student majoring in Environmental Studies and minoring in Science Communication. She hopes to learn more about the psychology of science communication and more about academic research as a CAIDe research assistant. She hopes to make a career as a science communicator. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, bike rides and hiking.
